PawRx ("we", "our", or "the app") is a pet medication tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data PawRx handles and how.

1. Data Storage

PawRx is a local-first application. All data you enter — pet profiles, medications, logs, weight entries, vet visits, and photos — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud storage of any kind.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, address, phone number)
• We do not collect health data about you or your pets
• We do not collect location data
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
• We do not transmit any data from your device to external servers

3. No Account Required

PawRx does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app.

4. Permissions

PawRx requests the following device permissions, used solely for the described purposes:

• Notifications — To send medication reminders at scheduled times
• Exact Alarms — To ensure reminders are delivered precisely on time
• Photo Access — To allow you to select a photo for your pet's profile (photos are stored locally)

5. In-App Purchases

PawRx offers optional premium features through Google Play Billing (Android) and StoreKit (iOS). Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Google or Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).

6. Third-Party Services

The only third-party services PawRx interacts with are:

• Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit — For processing in-app purchases, governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy

We do not integrate any advertising networks, analytics services, crash reporting tools, or social media SDKs.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since all data remains on your device, there is no data for us to share.

8. PDF Export

PawRx allows you to generate PDF health reports for your pets. These reports are created locally on your device. When you share a report, it is sent through your device's native sharing functionality (email, messaging, etc.) — PawRx does not transmit or store these files.

9. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete individual pets, medications, or logs within the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently, as nothing is stored externally.

10. Children's Privacy

PawRx does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app does not require or request personal information to function.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
